This is with reference to our telephonic conversation regarding Note on Pest Control License we are sending you the required information.
INTRODUCTION :-
Pest Control Operators :-
Any person who desires to undertake pest control operations, with the use of Aluminium Phosphide, Methyl bromide, Ethylene dibromide or as notified shall apply for a license in prescribed Form. The license granted for such operations shall be valid for a period of mentioned in certificate provided that the license shall be renewed after verification or inspection at the expiry of this period on application.
Eligibility of Pest control Operator:-
Any person who applies for grant of license for undertaking pest control operations should be at least a graduate in Agriculture or in Science with Chemistry as a subject with a certificate of minimum 15 days training from any of the following institutions -;Central Food Technological Research Institute. Mysore, Indian Grain Storage Institute, Hapur and National Plant Protection Training Institute, Hyderabad.
For understanding fumigation, the pest control operators shall have to obtain special permission from the Plant Protection Adviser to the Government of India in addition to obtaining license. The Plant Protection Adviser will grant such permission as per procedure or guidelines approved by the Registration Committee.
Condition of Licenses:-
A license to sell, stock or exhibit for sale or distribute insecticides shall be issued be subject to the following conditions namely :
i) The license shall be displayed, in a prominent place in the part of the premises open to the public.
ii) The license shall comply with the provisions of the Act and the rule made there under for the time being in force.
Conditions for storage of insecticides :-
i) The package containing insecticides shall be stored in separate rooms or premises away from the rooms or premises used for storing articles or shall be kept in separate almaries under lock and key depending upon the quantity and nature of the insecticides.
ii) The rooms or premises meant for storing insecticides shall be well built, dry, well-lit and ventilated and of sufficient dimension.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED :-
1. Applicant Details with photo
2. Proof of Applicant Firm Registration For Company – Copy of certificate of incorporation and MOA/AOA. For Partnership – Register deed of partnership firm and Shop Act.
3. NOC from Grampanchayat/Nagar Parishad/Maha Nagar Palika.
4. Proof of Address for Firm/Company/Shop/Sale/Storage(Godown):7/12 Extract/ 8 A/no 43 from grampanchayat, If premises is on rental basis then registered/ notarized rent agreement on Rs 100/- stamp paper along with ownership documents.
5. Proof of Address for Manager/Karta/Proprietor /Partner /Responsible Person/Expert/Production Supervisor: copy of tax receipt of property /copy of property registration document/copy of passport/ copy of Aadhar Card /Voter ID Card
6. Under taking with regards to First aid facilities.
7. Spot inspection report of Insecticide Inspector (Godown).
8. Employee’s documents (for Agriculture, Household and Pest Control Purpose) (a)qualification/Degree Certificate. (b)Pan Card. (c)Address Proof.
9. For Commercial Pest Control (Restricted Purpose) following documents required either for applicant or Operator. (a)Degree Certificate. (b)Minimum 15 days training course certificate from central food and Technological Research Institute, Mysore or Indian grain storage Institute, Hapur or National Plant Protection Training Institute, Hyderabad. (C)Certificate of Accreditation of Fumigation Operator from plant Protection Adviser. (d)Certificate of Registration of Fumigation Agency from Plant Protection Adviser.
Note: All the documents submitted by applicant should be dully attested by gazette officer or notary
