As per New Telecom Policy (NTP) 1999, Other Service Providers (OSP), such as tele-banking, tele-medicine, tele-trading, e-commerce etc will be allowed to operate by using infrastructure provided by various access providers for non-telecom services. The Telecom Commission in May 1999, accorded in principle approval for registration of Call Centers, both International and Domestic, in the country under the above category. Later, services like Network Operation Centres and Vehicle Tracking Systems, were also added to this category. As per the Terms and Conditions formulated by the Telecom Commission in February 2000, these application Service Providers could take telecom resources from authorized Telecom Service Providers only and may not infringe upon the jurisdiction of other authorized Telecom Service Providers and they will not provide switched telephony.
Requirements for DOT or OSP License :
1. Certificate of Incorporation issued by Registrar of Companies,
2. Board Resolution for Authorization of Director to make an application,
3. List of Directors & Shareholders with Details (Name, Address, DIN No., Contact No. No of Share )
4. Form 12 or 32 Filed with ROC
5. List of Shareholders with share holding
6. Demand Draft
7. Memorandum of Association Company
8. Articles of Association of the Company
9. Address Proof of the Company (MCA Form 18 or 22)
10. KYC details of all Directors
11. Previous 3 years Income Tax Return (if any) (in your case Company is newly formed hence this might be exempted)
12. Latest MSEB Bill or Telephone Bill of register office address
13. List of Client
14. Networking Chart
15. Information regarding Proposed Business Activity
