GRANT OF LICENCE:
Any industry, operation or process or an extension and addition thereto, which is likely to discharge sewerage or trade effluent into the environment or likely to emit any air pollution into the atmosphere will have to obtain consent of the State Pollution Control Board under the provisions of Water (P & CP) Act, 1974 and Air (P & CP) Act, 1981.
WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF CONSENT?
There are two types of consent issued under the provisions of Water (P & CP) Act 1974 and Air (P & CP) Act, 1981.
i Consent to Establish:
All the industries and activities needing consent must obtain consent to establish before actual commencement of the works for establishing the industry/activity.
ii Consent to Operate:
This consent needs to be taken before actual commencement of production including trial production. This consent is valid for certain duration.

- Mandatory Documents:
- CA Certificate
- Balance Sheet
- Capital Investment;
- Industry Registration;
- Manufacturing Process;
- PAN Card copy of Industry;
- Company’s Authorization Letter;
- Land Ownership Corticate;
- Aadhaar card or PAN card copy of authorized person;
- Industry Board of resolution/list of directors (of company / industry);
- Detailed proposal of pollution control system;
- Directors Details.
- MEPL Membership Certificate (if available).
- Other Documents:
- GST registration Certificate;
- Property tax receipt;
- Rent agreement with last rent receipt OR Sale/ Lease Deed agreement;
- Electricity Bill;
- Water Bill.
- The additional documentation required to be submitted with the application are as follows:
- Agreement on non-judicial stamp paper of 500/- in the prescribed format.
- Location map of premises from some nearest prominent landmark (illustrative only).
